• The application is already live
• Deployment is complete
• Core functionality is working

This step focuses only on domain configuration.

When this step applies

This step is relevant if:

• You have a website or web app deployed
• You want to replace the default deployment URL with a custom domain
• You already own a domain or plan to purchase one

No changes are made to the application itself.

Domain configuration

Once a domain is added:

• DNS records must be updated according to the platform’s instructions
• This typically includes:
  • Updating A records or CNAME records
  • Verifying domain ownership

These steps are handled through the domain provider’s dashboard.

The project will not be accessible via the custom domain until DNS changes propagate.
